Community involvement: people and their prayers making a difference - Program 112

Guests: Glenn Felch, Virginia Hill, Darrell D. Luce, Bonnie Demaree, Two verses from hymn #88

Community involvement can take many different forms. Sometimes the involvement is simply a matter of choosing to become active in a cause that’s close to one’s heart. At other times, a situation may be staring you in the face, begging for your attention, and you realize that you can’t just stand on the sidelines. The right thing to do is to get involved. In various experiences in their communities, our guests got involved, but not before facing concern, skepticism, disappointment, fear, and a question of what is the right thing to do.One thing these guests had in common is that they turned to prayer, and then followed the action that their prayers opened up to them.
