"Father, forgive them"

As the news reached my ears, I thought, "This seems sounkind, so unloving—they've unthinkingly imposed their own will upon myloved one.

Did I miss something?

Jesus of Nazareth spoke last weekOn a hillside out in the country.

Now

Rejoice in the glory of now.

Guarded while asleep

Now I lay me down to sleep.
Dear Father.
When times seem tough and frustrating,And my skies turn from blue to gray,I just become very quietand close my eyes to pray.

God, good, everywhere, always

I know that God is everywhere,His presence fills all space,So evil cannot ever haveA moment or a place.
