When I awoke in the morningand thought of the hours ahead—the deeds to be done,decisions taken,the tumble of words to be said—when I thought of my long day'sjourney into night.

A Wednesday night

Outside, the rain fell,refreshing the dry grass,replacing the warm air withcool sweet breezes.

Lost and found

Lost?

Noticing miracles

Not just in healings of the sick,and raising of the living dead.

Listening for God

My tongue says, "I can't!"I just sit there and cry.

If I had been Abraham

that fearful day,what would I have thought,what prayed,loading firewood upon the lad—upon my only son?
