TESTIMONY

Since man reflects the perfect Mind,Intelligence divine,He knows no poverty of thought,No feeble sign:His acts bespeak the truth his wordsInspired by Love reveal—Convincing, clear, enriching, strongTo comfort and to heal.

WHEN I PRAY

My Father, when I pray, how brief and swiftThe flight of heart to reach infinity!I need but shut away the mind's small viewTo find Thee anywhere I am.

The demand for church

I like to think of each church that grows up in a community as that community's answered prayer for the presence of the saving Christ—the message of God's love for humanity.

THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS

At Christmas time joy comes on upward wingWith Soul-filled messages that bless and glow.

WHAT SHALL WE BRING?

Gold and frankincense,Myrrh from afarBrought Wisemen of oldWho saw the star.

GOING BEFORE

The path that Joseph trod was strewn with snares,Yet bonds of evil never fettered him.

ASSURANCE

A springtime follows even coldest winter,A morning breaks the gloom of darkest night; And we, though in the throes of midnight anguish,May know that evil yields to Truth's pure light.

CUMULATIVE GROWTH

What one approaching God in prayerHas failed to find a measure of releaseFrom ills and troubled moments there—A glimpse of serenity of peace?

SOUL FILLS ALL YEARS

Do not record your age.
