The
Christian Scientist who has learned in some degree to demonstrate the truth which Christian Science teaches, that the power of God is ever available to deliver mankind from the false beliefs of sin and disease, is endeavoring to consecrate his life more and more to the service of the Cause with which he is associated.
Isaiah
at one time, in referring to "the joyful flourishing of Christ's kingdom," encouraged his hearers to "be strong, fear not," and then went on to say: "Your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Almost
without exception but one Greek word is used in the New Testment for "grace," a term which nearly everybody knows the meaning of, but which most people find it difficult to express in words.
"The
hour has struck for Christian Scientists to do their own work; to appreciate the signs of the times; to demonstrate self-knowledge and self-government; and to demonstrate, as this period demands, over all sin, disease, and death.
Christian Science
has already made great strides in demonstrating that Christianity is, first of all, scientific; that is, that its truths are exact and conform to divine law.
