WHAT
a comforting prophecy was that of the Psalmist: "They [the children of men] shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
What
a glorious vision was that of the beloved John on Patmos! The heavens had opened to him and he saw God, God whom Christ Jesus had revealed, reigning in universal consciousness,—revealed truth, the Christ-idea, accepted by all,—"and death and hell.

How
men reach out for satisfaction! How they strive and struggle, how they search and seek to find something that truly satisfies! The whole trend of earthly experience is supposed to be towards some goal or other which will supply a hoped-for good, which will afford the peace and comfort, the pleasure and happiness, that bring absolute content.
CHRISTIAN SCIENTISTS
are deeply grateful for the revelation of all true causation as divine, and of effect only as the expression of the one cause, which is God.
