When
Paul, writing to the Galatian church, declared that the Spirit lusted against the flesh and the flesh against the Spirit, he referred, of course, to the perpetual effort of the material senses to drown any spark of spiritual perception in a sea of materiality.
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
