When the reverend gentleman quoted in a recent Journal addressed his congregation in behalf of a national department of public health, his remarks were undoubtedly well intentioned.
It is good to find the Rev.
We are in no position to know whether or not "faith-healing cults repudiate sanitation and those preventive measures that have done more for health than medicine," as your editorial of June 6 declares, but we do know that Christian Science does not repudiate them.
The sermon on "Fads," as quoted in a recent issue, is incomplete.
