Christ Jesus' parable of the prodigal son has been a comfort to many who have felt lost. But can the parable teach us something of how Jesus healed?
One evening recently, after a day alternating between instances of minor mischief and his muttering that "I just don't like myself," my six-year-old son responded reluctantly to my request for help by getting something that I needed for his baby sister, whom I was changing upstairs.

The love that heals addiction

It's probably not new to hear that God loves you. But for this writer God's love is not just familiar words; it is the power that freed her from turmoil and addiction.
As the battle goes on to save young people from drug addiction, we shouldn't lose sight of their and our greatest strength: man's relationship to God.
