The test of our Christianity is the quality of our love—not only for God and for Christ Jesus but for humanity.
What are we asking for when we pray for healing? We should expect nothing short of rebirth.
It's important to ask tough questions about God. And it's important to listen for His answers.

Look until you can see

Spiritual hunger is really a very natural thing to feel. In fact, we should be surprised if we don't have it.

Exposing ignorance

The writer was dissatisfied with his job, the city he lived in, and the opportunities before him. Picking up and moving on seemed his only alternative until he saw his life and surroundings from a more Christly perspective.
