Defeating the time factor

"Clock-driven"—those are this author's words for what she was feeling. Prayer led her to a more inspired pace for her days.
The Bible says that our treasure is where our heart is. As the writer filled her heart with what she was learning of God's goodness, her life was also filled with what she needed.

Murphy's law

"Murphy's Law" is often used as a catchall phrase for everything and anything that goes wrong.

Who am I? It's a quest in great literature and in everyday lives. The answer is as close as prayer.
If we feel that we're caught between being a loving Christian and taking a stand for what's right, maybe we need to look again at the example of the master Christian. Jesus felt no conflict between spiritual love and the divine Truth he taught and lived.

Second Thought

"If there is going to be meaningful change, then we have to do more than pass new laws. We need to challenge, first of all, that debilitating sense of powerlessness."
About our cover—As we gain more understanding of the power which transcends human governments, our lives and our prayer will contribute to remarkable changes in our society.
