In response to many requests from the Field, the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy have authorized the publication of a Cloth Pocket Edition of the Church Manual, in blue and in brown, to match the Sunday School Edition of Science and Health and the Cloth Pocket Editions of Mrs.
The Tenets of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, for the use of branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, are printed on sheets containing space for adding the application forms for membership in branch organizations, or extracts from their by-laws.
It would be beneficial to branch churches as well as to The Mother Church if the custom, which was formerly followed, of joining both churches at the same time would now be revived.
