The Radio Fund was established to enable individual Christian Scientists, branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, and Christian Science Societies to share with The Mother Church the expense of its religious broadcasts—extending now to several countries—and the nationwide American network program, "The Christian Science Monitor Views the News," sponsored by The Christian Science Publishing Society.

, as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13, is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church" and "shall he forwarded each Year to the Church Treasurer.
The Tenets of The Mother Church are copyrighted, and for this reason branch churches and societies are not permitted to print them or to have them printed.
