The thousands of Christian Scientists in the armed services, who are serving their respective countries throughout the world, are being helped by The Mother Church through the Fund for Armed Services Activities.
Communications are welcome from church boards, Reading Room committees, librarians, and Reading Room staff members regarding experiences that may be helpful in this work.
Officers of branch churches and individuals who have occasion to correspond with The Christian Science Board of Directors, with the Clerk and the Treasurer of The Mother Church, and with the heads of departments of The Mother Church Offices are requested always to place their addresses on their letters and to write their signatures plainly.
The following periodicals were founded by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, and are published by The Christian Science Publishing Society, One Norway Street, Boston 15, Massachusetts, U.
In writing to a branch church regarding its dedication, Mary Baker Eddy lovingly counseled, "May God's little ones cluster around this rock-ribbed church like tender nestlings in the crannies of the rocks, and preen their thoughts for upward flight".
In previous issues of the Sentinel, attention has been drawn to the opportunity afforded Christian Scientists who travel on ocean-going liners to bring healing and comfort to others through a Christian Science church service held on shipboard.
To ensure that complete lecture notices be printed in the Sentinel, detailed information should reach the Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department regarding lectures in the United States and Canada at least seven weeks before the date of the lecture; elsewhere, eight to eleven weeks.
The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy take pleasure in announcing the binding of three additional books in red and in green Sturdite to match editions of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" published in 1958.
