Who needs the Bible, anyway?

The Bible has a proven healing record. The spiritual sense of its words speaks to the hearts of individuals across time, across languages, across cultures.
The healing came, not through human will or by “powering through,” but with trust.
With my improved understanding of God, I could face these accusations without fear.

Get off the hamster wheel

In our prayers, we must direct our gaze to what is divinely true—to what is true about God and about us as His beloved reflection—not to what seems to be wrong.

My first healing

I was on the road to understanding that Science and Health had the healing answers to any problems I might face in the future.
I’d discovered that my joy, my strength, my capacity were all sourced in God, who is certain and sure.
Henceforth my heart shall sigh no more …

Finding restoration and refreshment in God

The normal mobility of my hands and arms was restored, and I had energy and vitality in carrying out tasks. I even felt freer and better than before this whole experience.

Severe burns healed

I felt it was Christ, which Jesus embodied, that was strengthening me and enabling me to rely on God for healing. Christ, Truth, was the solid, spiritual foundation on which I was standing, and it would not fail me.

Ankle injury gone

Understanding that God’s creation is spiritual and perfect, I denied the false suggestion that I was material and could be injured. As I held to these truths, within an hour the pain suddenly left, and I was able to walk without limping.

Soul

To bless God’s holy name is to humbly revere His nature—to express wholehearted gratitude for His goodness and love.
