Is the Universe, Including Man, Evolved by Atomic Force?
The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
Wisdom and understanding are paired repeatedly in Hebrew Scripture (see another example in Jeremiah 51:15). Unlike speculative philosophies sometimes found in surrounding cultures, true insight was perceived as given by God.
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun. . . . His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it.
