Instantaneous healing of severe headache

I came home from my job as a kindergarten teacher one day with a terrible headache. I just lay down on my bed and tried to pray. I couldn’t even think about fixing dinner or doing anything with my two kids. 

When my husband arrived home, he came to find me and offered to pray with me, which I appreciated. He began to read aloud to me that week’s Bible Lesson found in the Christian Science Quarterly. The Lesson included this passage from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy: “The power of Christian Science and divine Love is omnipotent. It is indeed adequate to unclasp the hold and to destroy disease, sin, and death” (p. 412).

After he read that, he paused, and we talked about what it meant to each of us. God’s love unclasps or releases the hold that the false beliefs of disease, sin, and death seem to have on us by destroying anything unlike God, good.
