[Judith Hardy Olson, “Seeking Truth, finding health,” Sentinel, November 8, 2021]
Thank you so much for the wonderful editorial (and Daily Lift). That last chapter in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, titled “Fruitage,” is my favorite chapter.
When I was eight years old, a Christian Science family moved into our neighborhood, and I became friends with their little girl. They had Science and Health on their coffee table, and I noticed the emblem on the cover with the words “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, cleanse the lepers.” I later found the chapter “Fruitage” and fell in love with Christian Science. Those letters telling of lives transformed by God’s healing love spoke to my heart and still do. So grateful for the reminder from this editorial.
