Spoke to my heart
[Karen Neff, “Cast off those mental tatters!” Sentinel, February 22, 2021]
This piece spoke to my heart. It made me think more deeply about my personal and political beliefs. What is the difference between a belief and a moral and ethical foundation? Are my morals built on belief? Or are they built on the Ten Commandments and the teachings of Christ Jesus? Can I use this as a basis for determining between mere personal judgment and judgment based in divine law? Thank you to Karen for sharing her own prayers and evidence of divine guidance.

New vantage point
[Laura BonneCarrere, “Standing on the Rock,” Sentinel, February 22, 2021]
I am currently working on strength, balance, and fearlessness. This article gave me a new vantage point (being on the Rock).

Reread many times
“Getting our history straight” by Rachel Hanson in the February 15, 2021, Sentinel is such an important article. It states that “we have one common spiritual history of being God’s creation.” So true! I have reread the article many times. Thank you to Rachel.
