Which ‘I’?
I was working around the house one day when some not-so-good thoughts about myself came to me. I asked myself, “Where do such thoughts come from, anyway?”
I knew from my years of study of Christian Science that God is the only Mind and does all the knowing. Further, Mind sends us only good thoughts. In Jeremiah we read, “I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (29:11).
But what about the not-so-good thoughts, the aggressive mental suggestions that come to us?
