Led home by Love
I live on a farm that is divided by a very busy road. My dog, a yellow lab, was blind but never went out of the farm boundaries. One fall our neighbor’s son was visiting his parents and brought his two beagles with him. They were hunters and ran loose for miles, chasing rabbits and deer.
One afternoon when my dog had not come for her meal, I thought she had probably run off with the beagles. My daughter and I searched till dark. The next day my oldest son came with his dog, searching in the woods and near the swamp. Neighbors and friends joined in the efforts.
The next day was cold and rainy. I thought back to when I was growing up in Latvia, and how I’d had Christian Science to rely on all my life. I was one of six children, and we all had many healings. I knew that the same guidance and protection was here right now, and I declared that my dog was in God’s care.
