To rouse ourselves
To be healed through Christian Science is to wake up spiritually. This awakening is a joy-filled, revitalizing experience, which comes through God’s love for us, making us more conscious of who we actually are as God’s child. We actually see and feel the truth of our real individuality.
Even if we think of ourselves as a mortal with a material history, limitations, fears, imperfections, and so on, even now we are the beloved, perfect image of our Maker, infinite Spirit. And we always have been.
The spiritual harmony and wholeness that Spirit has established in us are right here, right now. Ours is the forever fresh substance of Spirit. We have a perfect, spiritual individuality, which manifests the attributes and faculties of Soul. We have eternal life, because we are the image of the Life which is God. And we are forever free of illness or disease, because we’re the expression of Spirit, and Spirit only includes harmony.
