LETTERS

I just got through reading the June 18 Sentinel on "Love, identity, and sexuality." Without a word of "do's and don'ts,"you gently pointed out that our only goal is to grow Spirit-ward. You successfully avoided offending and preaching. It was one of the most effective treatments of this topic I've ever read.

If we expect to introduce and reintroduce people, young and old, into Christian Science, you've done a marvelous job. You're also speaking effectively to Christian Scientists who have found the church stodgy and unable to avoid "timid conservatism."
