The transforming effects of Christly love
Some years ago, I was having a problem with a new colleague at work. She was from another country, and though her technical skills were good, communication was difficult and frustrating—for both of us. We were computer programmers, and it was my responsibility to train my colleague on the software tools for the project we were working on.
We would sit down together in the morning, review specific tasks, and then I would observe her at the keyboard. But to my dismay and growing irritation, she would then come back later, asking questions that I had already answered—sometimes several times. Others at work were aware of this behavior, because she was also going to them for some of the same instructions we had previously discussed.
