How I stopped smoking
Never had I felt God's strength and power so clearly.
During my teen years , I was attracted to smoking and soon became addicted to cigarettes. All my friends smoked, and I thought it was a cool way to fit in.
After marrying and having a baby, I longed to be free from this habit. By that time, I had a strong desire for my life to take on a more "spiritual" tone. And I didn't want to smoke around the baby.
I prayed diligently, but it seemed the more I yearned for freedom, the more I craved nicotine. It was a vicious cycle. My husband also smoked, so I was constantly around cigarettes.
