YOUR LETTERS
"Hand in hand, you . . . can go forward with your hands in God's."
From the Editor: A grandmother shared a letter she wrote to her son and his family. Sentinel readers may benefit from her inspiration.
Be not afraid! The atmosphere is heavy. You have the greatest defense. Your home, especially your approach to your children, expresses an abundance of love. It is love — God expressed. This is your defense, and you can rely on Love to protect your family. Every morning, claim the power of Love together — a hymn, the Lord's Prayer, the twenty-third, or the ninety-first Psalm. That reinforces your inheritance you already have from God. Remember whose children they are. God is the Only Cause and creator, and they possess and reflect only good and "nothing can dispossess [them] of this heritage" (Mary Baker Eddy, Pulpit and Press, p. 3).
Hand in hand, you both can go forward with your hands in God's.
