When I was a junior in college, after I'd asked many questions...
When I was a junior in college, after I'd asked many questions about many things, a friend told me she had found her answers about a year before in Christian Science. I obtained a copy of Science and Health and devoured the book; I found that the truths in it did indeed answer my questions. Although at first I did not understand everything I was reading, I was sure that as I continued studying this textbook, understanding would come. And it surely did, and continues to come.
My first healing, of ivy poisoning, came early on and was, to me, truly remarkable, taking place in about one week. Whereas from early toddler age I had been plagued every year with this condition—so severely that many times I had to go to a hospital for treatment that took months to bring relief—I was completely and permanently healed in that short time.
Since that first healing, others of many kinds have occurred for me, and these include those of colds, flu, laryngitis, tooth problems, shingles, bruised ribs, a broken bone in my foot, burns, blisters, jellyfish stings, extreme shyness, extreme fear, exhaustion, depression, grief, strained relationships, leg cramps, sinus trouble, nausea, heartburn, warts, a breast lump, guidance in finding employment, and ankle, finger, and wrist sprains—and on and on.
