With profound gratitude I give this testimony of a healing, which occurred shortly after I had become a Christian Scientist.

During a physical examination, the doctor found a lump in my breast. I drove home in great fear and called up a Christian Science practitioner, whose prayers had already healed my husband of a gallbladder condition. With loving, calm words, this practitioner stated his willingness to pray for me.

Even as I hung up the telephone the fear left me, and over the course of the day nothing was able to worry me. Three days later, when I felt a small sensation in the breast, I remained unimpressed. The following days were filled with joy and love.

Since the doctor had given me a referral to be X-rayed, I went a week later to have that done. Other physicians said they had never seen anything more perfect on an X-ray.

This healing occurred a few years ago. In the meantime I have become a member of The Mother Church and also of a branch church, where I serve with joy as a Sunday School teacher. I am filled with gratitude for Christian Science class instruction, and I give thanks for all the blessings that have come to my family and me. With all my heart I thank God, who has wrought great things for me.
