How do you defend yourself?
If you made a list of all the ways people defend themselves, how many could you think of?
There would probably be old weapons on your list—spears, swords, shields. And space weapons like robots, rockets, phasers. And martial arts—judo and Tae Kwon Do.
What about God? Many people have found that God is the strongest defense there is. God's power—and trust in it—has saved people from danger when nothing else could help. For example, can a robot make a storm stop when it's swirling around your boat? Can judo teach you to lead an enemy army away from you so neither you nor the enemy gets hurt? What power, except God's, is always available to defend you from sickness?
