God's Traffic Lights

"A boy at school," said Bill, "called the Ten Commandments out-of-date. I know they aren't, but I didn't know how to answer him." "To make sure we don't collide with other cars," answered Jane. "So that all the drivers have a fair turn!" This from John. "In a busy street," said Anne, "how would we know when it is safe to cross unless we had lights?"
