Vallejo, California (First Church).—Dedication services were held on June 29, 1941, in First Church of Christ, Scientist, Vallejo. Two services were held. At each service a historical record was read, which follows in part:

"The first public Christian Science services in Vallejo were held in 1904, in the old Samoset Hall on Georgia Street, and the first lecture was given in 1908. Shortly afterward, Christian Science Society, Vallejo, was formed, in accordance with the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy. Regular Sunday morning services and Wednesday evening meetings were held, and a Sunday school was conducted.

"In 1916, a Reading Room was opened to the public in the Steffan Building on Georgia Street.
