Six months ago I had a fall and was taken to a hospital for an X-ray examination. The verdict was a broken hip. The attending surgeon said that on account of advanced age I might not live, and if I lived I probably would never walk again; that I would suffer from pain and weakness, etc. The broken bone was not put into a plaster cast or bound in any way, and no remedy was used except Christian Science treatment. I had no suffering of any kind after the first few days, and have improved steadily. I am now well, and walk with only a slight limp, which is rapidly disappearing.

I am most grateful for this healing, which is one among many proofs that I have had of the efficacy of Christian Science and that God is "a very present help."
