just today, I saw a smile,a smile that melted mountainsand lifted ancient handsto clap in breathless chorus,a smile that bore the ages powerto strip the guilty shadowsand wash the earth in light.

A rose

I picked a single rose and placed it in a vase.
These orange ones piling into red split the stillness of this post-dawn fog and tell me of the loosening that must come in our lives:

Turn toward the light

Look at that flower, so beautiful and bright.

My neighbour

My next-door neighbourIs a lighthouse.

Summation

Constant, purposeful,Principle controls the way:firm, abiding strength.

Welcome, daylight!
