media of communication today present to us the picture of a troubled world, of human governments stumbling along a precipitous path to peace, of minds in conflict, and of fearful men who feel their lives and destinies are in the hands of fallible leaders, sometimes well-meaning, sometimes imperfect, sometimes almost completely evil.
To
discern "the magnitude of self-abnegation," one must rise above the testimony of material sense and practice unselfed love, purity, and meekness, as taught in Christian Science.
