A letter
recently written to a Scientist friend in Boston by a young lady Scientist who is traveling abroad for the winter, contains many items of interest.
Only
one of the largest Branch Churches in each state or the United States, and in Canada and Great Britain, is requested to appoint a Publishing Committee to serve in its locality and under its Church By-laws.
We
have heretofore said upon the above subject that Christian Scientists have done all they properly can do in the way of advertising when they unobtrusively make known the fact that they hold themselves in readiness to respond to calls for healing sickness or otherwise aiding those who need and desire such services as come within their province and line of duty, and that the pushing methods which too much obtain in the business world have no legitimate place in Christian Science.
Circumstances
make it necessary again to request our co-workers throughout the Field to observe the following rules in sending in their orders to the Publishing House:—
