New Updates #1: Improving your Sentinel experience
Thanks to those of you who have reached out with feedback and ideas about the refreshed Christian Science Sentinel. We’re continually making updates based on your suggestions, including these recent changes:
MORE EASILY FIND WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR
Spend more time interacting with our content, not searching for it. The new “Table of Contents” button leads to an overview of everything that’s included in your most recent Sentinel. Click on any title to go directly to the content. Find the “Table of Contents” button on the homepage of each issue and on individual article pages.
MORE PRINTING OPTIONS ONLINE
How can I save on paper? Print margins are smaller, so more text fits on each page.
How can I customize my print style? Change your margins and scale size without worrying about cutting off any text. (We recommend you use Chrome, Firefox, or Edge web browsers.)
How can I print with one click? Our default layout has been improved.
Can I make the font easier to read? The font is now a darker color.
SEE ALL SENTINEL ISSUES IN ONE PLACE*—Click the “Issues” tab at the top of the homepage to find recent and past Sentinel issues all on one page, and then filter by year.
*Please note: You’ll need an active JSH-Online subscription to access the entire Sentinel archive collection. Only the four most recent issues of the Sentinel are free for a limited time.
MORE SPACE FOR READING ON MOBILE—The Sentinel header will now collapse, or partly disappear, when you scroll down on your smartphone so you have more space for reading article text. As you scroll up, the header reappears, making for more comfortable reading and seamless navigation.
NEW FONT SIZE
Fit more on your page when reading online or printing with our new smaller font size. Select any article and use the toolbar on the left to change the size.
LISTEN TO PODCASTS AND ARTICLES WITH MORE FLEXIBILITY
Now you can rewind 10-seconds or skip 10-seconds ahead when listening to all Sentinel articles and podcasts.
