I am unspeakably grateful to...

I am unspeakably grateful to God for the gift of Christian Science in this age. It has brought much good to me and to my family. Never once, when properly applied, has it failed to solve the numerous problems with which we have been confronted.

I did not take up its study specifically for healing. My husband had been a student of this Science for a number of years before we were married, and I could see that his religion meant much more to him than mine did to me. I began reading Mrs. Eddy's writings and the Christian Science literature, testing some of the statements therein and finding that they worked. I also began attending church with my husband each Sunday and Wednesday.

The time came when it was necessary for me to decide between Christian Science and materia medica. In analyzing what I had got out of my few months' study of Christian Science, I realized that glasses which I had worn for twelve years had been laid aside, rheumatism from which I had suffered since childhood had disappeared, weak ankles had become normal, and periodic sick headaches had been greatly relieved. I readily took my stand for Christian Science and found it well worth while. A very harmonious childbirth was experienced some months later, a physician being present only because the law of the state where we were living required it. Another child was born under similar conditions several years later. Neither child has ever tasted medicine or been under the care of a physician. Children's diseases have been readily overcome by the truth. Regular attendance at Sunday School has blessed both children and parents.
