With a heart filled with love and gratitude I send this testimony, hoping it may guide another pilgrim to the truth which makes us free. Mrs. Eddy tells us that there is nothing new to God; and I can truthfully say that this was proved to me about four years ago. A very discordant condition seemed to take possession of me, and the doctors were unable to give me any explanation. I did not know much about Christian Science at the time, and the error became more stubborn, although I was having a very faithful and loving practitioner work for me. Then the thought came that to die out of the error might be the only way. But, as Mrs. Eddy tells us, "death is not a stepping-stone to Life" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 203); and right there I made up my mind to get well.

For over a year I read nothing but Science and Health, and with loving help from the practitioner I was entirely healed. Since then we have had many healings and blessings in our home. Whereas before there was discord and inharmony, now there is peace and harmony, because we know that the kingdom of God is at hand every moment. I am profoundly grateful for Christian Science.
