Lecturer: Miss Lucia C. Coulson; introduced by Miss Helen N. Rhodes, who said:—

The Psalmist said, "O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me." Many years ago, when I was in great need of physical and mental help, the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was put into my hands; and though at that time fear and discouragement possessed me, the opening lines of the Preface to that little book gave me new hope. The revelation contained in its chapters seemed, as I read, too good to be true; but during the reading two physical ills of long standing disappeared, proving that this Science is both good and true. Christian Scientists the world over are grateful for this revelation of Truth, and doubly grateful that Mrs. Eddy was wise enough to build a wall of protection around her discovery, so that it might never be vitiated.
