Over fifteen years ago, while I was sick and miserable and greatly depressed because facing an operation, one very dear to me asked me to try Christian Science. I knew nothing about this teaching, but I felt it must be good; so I went to a Christian Science practitioner and had my first treatment. I was healed of the depression with the first treatment, and the physical suffering was completely healed in two weeks. Many healings have come to me since then, both of disease and of faults of character. Many times I have been through severe testing times, but each one has drawn me closer to God.

For the healing of a much loved bulldog, I am deeply grateful. This little dog met with an accident and became paralyzed. We had Christian Science treatment for him, and in two weeks he was walking again. That was over three years ago, and he has been perfectly well and active ever since. While I am so grateful for all the physical healings, I am more grateful still for the understanding of God and man that Christian Science has enabled me to gain. I earnestly pray that I may prove by my life that my gratitude is sincere.
