Among the Churches

Current Notes

Virginia, Minnesota (First Church).—Services have now been held at First Church of Christ, Scientist, to dedicate their edifice at 711 Fifth Avenue, South. The building is semicolonial in style, with exterior in rough drag stucco in warm ivory with white trim. The auditorium has a seating capacity of one hundred and thirty. A generous number of windows supply a soft amber light to the interior.

Manchester, England (Fifth Church).—We notice that a valuable plot of land has been purchased in Mosley Road, close to Slade Lane, on which a permanent building for Fifth Church of Christ, Scientist, is to be erected. The services of Fifth Church are at present held in Cooperative Hall, South Levenshulme, and we have no doubt that the large congregations which assemble there will be only too glad to meet in a new place of worship.
