That Mrs. Eddy was a remarkable woman not even those who have most bitterly assailed her system of religious therapeutics deny. Those who are not most extraordinary do not draw to them such a following as she had.

There is something remarkable about this Christian Science faith. Not long ago we incidentally referred to a man whom we had known years ago. At that time everything indicated that he would ruin himself. The man of whom we inquired said that he was doing well and making a very unusual success in business. "He has become a Christian Scientist," said the man. "Up to the time a friend gave him a copy of Science and Health he had been going from bad to worse, and was getting in bad shape, mentally, physically, and financially. The book changed his life." That is not an unusual or infrequent testimonial to the good results secured from Christian Science.
