I wish to express my gratitude for the many benefits...

I wish to express my gratitude for the many benefits received through Christian Science, and hope my experience will be a help to others who may be in as great need of Christian Science as was I. Although I had known something of this teaching for several years, and believed it to be the truth, I was living anything but a Christian life up to the time I called upon a practitioner to treat me for boils, a disorder which had been giving me a good deal of trouble for some time. This disease was healed, but best of all I was also healed of some of the sins to which I had been subject.

The desire to do better began to grow on me, with the result that after a few months' earnest study of Christian Science I have been able to rise above fear, uncertainty, and sin in a remarkable degree. The temptations which a few months ago seemed to master me, have now no power; in fact, there is no temptation at all, even when placed in the same circumstances. I seem to be a new man, and the whole world looks different. I somethimes think it must be a new world, and that the old one has passed away. This condition has not been gained without hard work and struggles, also what seemed to be sacrifices; but I can now see that nothing was sacrificed, it was all gain. I hope to prove my gratitude for this great truth by living as near as possible that life which Jesus taught us to live, and which is pointed out today by our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy. May I learn to reflect the Love that is God.—George E. Adams, Savannah, Ga.
