You are dearly loved

Then is there anything we can do if things tell us that no one needs us especially? That no one thinks we are anything special? That no one is deeply fond of us? Yes, there is. There is the love of God, never failing, always present to be felt and enjoyed. We can turn to this love (accept it in faith at first, perhaps) and become sure of it through proof in our daily lives.
Christian Science points out that one of the most important facts of our being is God's constant love for us, His children. Therefore, to look for this love and know it in daily life is not wishful thinking or an escape from reality. It is dependence upon true spiritual fact and living by this fact every moment. Christ Jesus was always conscious of God's unfailing love.
