What does it mean to be spiritual?

with Ethel Baker

Have you ever wondered what it really means to be spiritual? A great starting point is the first chapter of the Bible, Genesis, which says: “God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them” (verses 27, 28).

Because God is Spirit, this points to the ever-blessed spiritual nature of all men, women, and children, as God’s creation.

But what if it seems a little hard for us to understand this as being both true and practical?

On this Sentinel Watch, our guest responds to your questions sent in via our website, JSH-Online.com, on, “What does it mean to be spiritual?” Sharing insights from the Bible and the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, our guest shows how we can understand our spiritual nature as God’s perfect creation and find the healing and joy that this understanding brings.
