We were all having fun … or so it seemed!

Always in God’s care

My best friend Nancy and I loved to climb trees.

Aria and the bee

Aria had learned about praying in Christian Science Sunday School. She knew that one way of praying was to listen for good thoughts from God that would comfort and heal her.

Favorite Bible characters

My favorite Bible character is Daniel, because he was safe in the lions’ den after a king put him in there.

Nehemiah's story

Jenny Sawyer

Whether you want to help out in a little way or you want to help out in a big way, the only way to succeed is to pray, listen, and follow.

I’ve played ice hockey for the last seven years.
Do you ever walk to school?
Every Saturday I have horseback riding lessons.

A little moon story

Lyn Littlefield Hoopes

Did you ever see the new moon rise, a sliver of white in the dark night sky? Inside the sliver, did you ever see the whole round moon hiding in shadow?

Love chases away the storm

It was a dark and stormy night.
My sister and I were at my Grammy and Grampy’s house while my mom was out shopping.
I was hiding under my bed … again.
My favorite hymn is number 477, which starts out, “Feed my lambs, tend my sheep”.
I just finished second grade, and I go to the Christian Science Sunday School.
A couple of summers ago, I went to a sleep-away summer camp, but I ended up staying for only a small part of it because I was scared and homesick.
