Our
readers will be glad to know that the several bills antagonistic to Christian Science introduced at the present session of the Massachusetts Legislature have been reported adversely by the Committee on Public Health, and that both houses of the Legislature have concurred in these adverse reports.
For
many years I have prayed daily that there be no more war, no more barbarous slaughtering of our fellow-beings; prayed that all the peoples on earth and the islands of the sea have one God, one Mind; love God supremely, and love their neighbor as themselves.
There
seems to be a thought with many who write letters of appreciation and gratitude to our Leader, for the benefits derived through her teachings, that their letters may never be seen nor read by her.
No harbinger of spring is more welcome or more reliable than the return of the robins, for we know how surely and how soon they will entice the cherry and apple buds from their cozy hidings and select a site for their home nests in the heart of their bloom.
One
of the distinguishing signs of the study of Christian Science is an eager desire upon the part of those who read its literature for the spiritual interpretation of the Scriptures.

Concordance to "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," revised from the latest edition of Science and Health, is now on the press and will be ready for delivery in a few days.
By
a strange perversity of the human mind, the tender invitation of Christ Jesus, — "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven," — has generally been taken to mean that the children must die in order to go to Christ and the kingdom of heaven.
Our
Leader has requested us to say that no letters of inquiry are to be addressed to her touching upon questions that should properly come before the Clerk or other officers of The Mother Church, The Christian Science Publishing Society, or the publisher of her books.
