In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

"Occupy"

Probably no one has ever placed a higher valuation on work than did Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.

Man Inseparable from God

One of the most comforting passages in the Bible is given in the eighth chapter of Romans, where Paul writes, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

"Tribulation worketh patience"

That one should turn to divine Love for healing and be denied is impossible, and it is equally impossible for divine Love to render less than perfect and instantaneous healing.

Beginning Anew

No single act is perhaps more indicative of the human heart's belief in opportunity for mending its ways than is expressed in the prevalent habit of making good resolutions each recurring New Year.
[The Biblical World]
The kindly attitude of a former clergyman of your city toward Christian Science, as evidenced by his remarks in a recent sermon and quoted in a late issue from a Cleveland newspaper, is appreciated by Christian Scientists.
A gentleman, referring to "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," writes that the Bible "stands in no need of such keys.
Judging from a statement reported in a recent issue as having been made by Doctor—in one of his lectures, one would be led to think that he knows very little of the teachings of Christian Science.
Jesus of Nazareth was the master-workman, and in this, as in everything else, he is the way.
When clergymen launch an attack against Christian Science, as stated in the report of a conference, it is a recognition of the growth and success of Christian Science, which otherwise would receive no such attention from these gentlemen.

True Teaching

Jesus' promise, "Seek, and ye shall find," stands out as a beacon light to every Christian Scientist, assuring him that in the degree of his honest searching for the truth he will find divine Love meeting his every need.

Conquering Error

Many times reference has been made in our periodicals to the scientific use of words in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and the advantage of familiarizing ourselves with their exact meaning in order better to understand the statements made therein.
