There’s a song I like called “Let There Be Peace on Earth” by Jill Jackson and Sy Miller.
We often define poverty in its most basic material terms: the aching lack of food or the cry for shelter, for example.
I grew up on a Wisconsin farm, so I'm not sure why I became interested in the Middle East.
Late last year, after a great deal of prayer, I decided to move from Boulder, Colorado to Washington, DC.
I teach high-school-age Sunday School students, and one week I found myself struggling to finish preparations for the next class.
