In view of the change in the date of Communion service in the branch churches from June 14 to July 12, the following will be the order of the lessons:—
Those who approve and countersign applications for membership in the Mother Church, will assist the Clerk, and also avoid disappointment to applicants if they will hold,—until after the semi-annual meetings,—the applications which have been sent to them for their signature at a date too late to reach the Clerk before the closing of the entries for admission, and notify those seeking membership that their applications were received too late to be entered.
The
Clerk of the Mother Church informs us that in many instances the following notice, which appeared regularly in the Sentinel during February, March, and April, has failed to receive attention at the hands of those whose duty it is to forward such reports.
